Please bring a friend and join us for an evening of Summer fun and fellowship in front of the big screen as we gather together to view our featured pick for July: the 1994 classic, FORREST GUMP, starring Tom Hanks in his Academy Award-winning role, and co-stars Gary Sinese and Robin Wright. Winner of six Academy Awards, including best picture, best director and best actor, the film is sure to stir your memories of some of the iconic lessons Forrest learned from his Mama, such as: “Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re gonna get” and “Miracles happen every day; some people don’t think so, but they do." In keeping with the season, a light picnic supper, provided by the Parish, along with water and coffee, will be served. Feel free to bring your favorite salad or dessert to share. A free-will offering will be accepted.
